The Rowena Fire Devastated 56 Homes in Wasco County
Please help us support their recovery efforts
Help Rowena Fire Families Rebuild
In June 2025, the Rowena Fire swept through our community, destroying 56 homes and 91 additional buildings across the Gorge. Families have been displaced, lives upended, and critical resources stretched thin. Thanks to early evacuations and the heroic efforts of firefighters and emergency responders, there were no confirmed fatalities—but the road to recovery is long.
Your support today helps provide immediate relief—shelter, food, essentials—and contributes to long-term rebuilding efforts. A dedicated Fire Relief Committee made up of local non-profits, business owners, and community leaders is working to ensure every dollar goes where it’s needed most.
Please stand with us. Every contribution helps.
United Way of the Columbia Gorge has launched the Rowena Fire Relief Recovery Fund to provide immediate support for those in need of shelter, food, clothes and more. We are working with local partners to mobilize resources and lead collaborative efforts to rebuild.
Your donation to the Rowena Fire Relief Recovery Fund helps organize resources and ensure our neighbors have the support they need to recover from the recent Rowena Fire.
